Endless
Love
Jeremiah
31:3
"
… I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with
lovingkindness have I drawn thee."
|
|
The love of God is as everlasting as He is eternal. God's love is beyond searching, His grace is not comprehendible; and though His gifts are perpetual to us all they are not bias to any race creed or culture, for He is kind to the unthankful and to the unrighteous as well as the just and faithful. His mercy endures the longevity of life and His patience is immortal. God loves without reason, without reckon without compliance without reciprocity; He loves because that Is Who He Is, What He Is, and What He stands for- LOVE. He has not begun to love you but He has always loved you, He still loves you, and He will forever love you!

Struggle
is the Partner to Progress
Joshua
1:5
"
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the
days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee:
I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. "

Moving
on or moving forward is sometimes easier said than done. One
would like to think that in efforts to positively bring about
change there would be little to no resistance or opposition.
Unfortunately this is not true; in fact any effort to change
positively or negatively for that matter will always be met
with resistance. Change is what really brings this about in
our lives, and it plays out in so many practical ways. The
Third Law of Physics as it is stated by Sir Isaac Newton,
"To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
Whenever we try to make a change in our lives, we are equally
met with challenges to prevent the change. One does not need
to be a rocket scientist to figure this out, and we all have
faced this problem in life in some way. Everyday life presents
us with these trials and test: ownership solicits strife,
victory solicits competition, freedom solicits captivity,
and progression solicits opposition. Often times a key indicator
that you are doing something right is when things are constantly
trying to adversely go wrong. However what the Lord tells
Joshua here is of great value and should be considered to
all those who are in Christ. One is that his life (Joshua)
has purpose and meaning, not because of whom he was, but rather
what God would make him to become a mighty leader. Two Joshua's
purpose and directives came straight from God not man, so
as the Apostle Paul states, "If God be for us, who can be
against us?" Lastly but certainly not least, Christ promises
to be with us always and He will never leave or forsake you.
Truly, I can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens
me

Well
Worth It
Romans
8:25
"
with
patience wait for it."
|
|
It is
said patience is a virtue, however, the one virtue that often
eludes us all. Patience by definition is the ability to endure
and persevere without complaint. Patience no matter how one
seems to master it, must often be revisited and built upon.
Once you figure you have garnered enough patience to endure,
you are faced with a challenge that requires even more patience
than before. To a Christian believer having patience is a
must, and it is the one thing that faith demands. The Word
of God admonishes us to allow patience to have a completed
work in us all, that we may become mature and complete in
Christ. This concept cuts against the grain of society, because
everything in our life needs to have happened yesterday, and
technology makes this possible. The world is constantly becoming
smaller thanks to global communications and the internet.
However one fundamental truth that remains is good things
come to those who wait; and to every born again believer in
due season you will reap if you faint not. That which the
Lord has promised is well on the way, but with enduring patience
we must remained postured with great anticipation and our
hearts lifted up in worship. God's Word is sure and His promises
are exact, when we wait on Him we will never be disappointed;
so wait I say on the Lord.

The
Right Way
(Proverbs
16:25)
"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man
"
|
|
To fully
understand the plan of God for our lives we must learned to
seek the heart of God first. Our ways are not the ways of
God, and that first must be realized in order for us to come
to Him for guidance and instruction. The scope and vision
of God goes beyond the comprehension of the human mind, He
can see beyond tomorrow; whereas we must rely only on what
we have already experienced in life to make the best possible
choices in regards to our future. Having confidence and putting
our trust in God can go a long way, if we can be willing to
realize He truly knows what is best for us. However that is
easier said than done, because it literally means relinquishing
total control of our lives over to God. Even though we understand
the omniscience of God (all knowing) and the omnipotence of
God (all power) the human heart feels diminished in value
when we are denied the liberty and freedom of choice. The
proverb speaks to "in all our ways acknowledge Him" this is
a measure of pure reverence and respect to the divine authority
of God; the proverb also declares "He will direct our paths"
which gives assurance to the providential care and the exact
direction that is not only assured by God's guidance but also
protected by His sovereign power and authority along the way.
We must learn to trust God with all our hearts, and not to
lean to our own understanding. If we could learn to seek God
everyday to understand Him better, the plan He has for our
lives will be made much clearer with each passing day. He
knows what is best for our lives, and we must rest in faith
that He will only do that which is right, and only command
that which is fair.

It's
Gotten Out of Hand
(Psalm
38:1-2)
"O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten
me in thy hot displeasure. For thine arrows stick fast in
me, and thy hand presseth me sore."
|
|
I think
all would agree that life is hard at times or difficult to
say the least. Sometimes that in the simple efforts to better
one's life, be it through resolutions, starting a new job,
or trying to better one's self with continued education, the
obstacles that abstrusely align our pathway can be extremely
daunting and intimidating. In the consistent effort to become
all that God has made us to be and that which Christ through
the Holy Spirit is helping us to become, we through lofty
decisions of ambition can make leaps and strides that at the
slightest misstep cause us to suddenly fall off course. A
clear indication of such misfortune cannot always be readily
recognized by others, but only with the slightest hint of
perception we as individuals know that something is off. This
is most difficult because it is not a clear scenario where
one has fallen into a moral degradation of sin, but you are
simply not on the right course at the right time; and the
pain and discomfort you feel is the Holy Spirit letting you
know we've taken a wrong turn somewhere. Sometimes that new
road is something that we have embarked on to do or become
a part of a good work; but remember in the most fundamental
definition of sin, sin is anything that stands in contradiction
to expressed and known Will of God. The book of Hebrews suggests
that with patience we run the race that is "set before
us." This race is what the Apostle Paul describes as
a course; a course that is laid out before him designed by
God that would lead him to God. It is when we find ourselves
remised from this course "my course" things will
quickly spiral out of control and eventually fall apart. However
be encouraged that the same zeal and fervor that God has shown
to us all through Jesus Christ does not stop at Calvary, but
rather He is faithful that promised as is committed to complete
that which He has begun in you. What David discovered here
in the Psalm is the pain and pressures you now feel? Things
have gotten out of hand, but it is only the grip of God has
begun to be tighter on your life. The Lord will never fail
thee or leave thee, and He says I will squeeze you before
I will lose you. So your life may be out of your hands but
it is most certainly NOT out of God's hand.
